Synopsis:
A drama series about Dr. Jordan Cavannaugh, a sexy and brilliant yet irascible Boston medical examiner with a checkered career and a penchant for going beyond the call of duty to solve crimes. After striking out in Los Angeles, she returns to her Boston hometown and her former job with the Massachusetts State Coroner's Office, where she reunites with her ex-cop father Max, who's still haunted by the unsolved murder of his wife, Jordan's mother. Working alongside Jordan are her erratic boss Dr. Garret Macy; newly arrived colleague Dr. Trey Sanders; forensic entomologist Dr. Mahesh "Bug"; "intake" liaison and office coordinator Lily Lebowski; and ex-British soldier turned criminal and forensics expert Nigel Townsend.
