Comedy/drama series about the tangled and tempestuous love lives of a close-knit group of friends.

The friends and would-be lovers are: Steve, who fell for Susan, but is still trying to end his relationship with Jane; Jane is still in love with Steve and, refusing to be dumped by him, keeps suggesting having sex; Susan, pretty and sexy, works hard and has an uninhibited attitude towards sex and relationships, often catching people unaware; until recently Susan was fooling around with Patrick, who thought it was more serious than it was; she has now fallen for Steve who is her friend Jeff's roommate; Sally is Susan's best friend and a beauty therapist; attractive and unspeakably vain, she is desperate for a man and has agreed to go out with Patrick; Patrick is very right wing, not very intellectual, but has a great job and is far from bashful when it comes to sex; Jeff works in Susan's office and is Steve's "porn buddy" and often his second banana; unbeknownst to his friends, he is terrified of sex; Jeff also has a disturbing view of life.
