Conan O’Brien Heads to TBS for Late-Night Show

CNN is reporting that Conan O’Brien will take his late-night show to TBS starting in November. A tongue-in-cheek statement from O’Brien read:

In three months I’ve gone from network television to Twitter to performing live in theater, and now I’m headed to basic cable … my plan is working perfectly.

All jokes aside, is this the best move for O’Brien considering the lucrative deals he must have turned down from Comedy Central and Fox? Can he really beat Leno, Letterman, and Kimmel without the strength of a major network marketing push behind him? We’ll all find out come November, stay tuned.

Now you decide …
