Synopsis:
A drama series about a defeated U.S. senator who returns to the Pacific Northwest to live near his three grown daughters and their families. Elliott Baines, a prominent three-tern U.S. senator, returns to his Seattle home following a shocking loss in his bid for re-election. Although he is completely unfamiliar with a world outside of politics, Baines must leave Capitol Hill and return home to start living the next chapter in his now uncertain life. Joining him are his three daughters, who are often at odds with their father and each other. Ellen is a lawyer considering a move into the political arena; Reeva is a busy mother of two with problems at home; and Dori is a young woman still trying to find her niche in life. Caught up in their own problems and used to living without their father's presence, the three don't know what to expect from his return -- and neither does Elliott.
