Synopsis:
Eight couples from across the country compete in New York City to win their dream of opening their very own restaurant. Each team consists of four couples that will open two restaurants across the street from one another. Both teams face two challenges; their first "Big White Challenge" is designing a menu for chef/restaurateur Marco Pierre White to taste by end of day one. The second and major challenge is opening each restaurant for service in less than 48 hours. For the first time, the teams will face one of the country's top food critics from Atlantic Magazine who will critique each of them before Marco's elimination, during which comes a surprising turn of events.
