This seems like a good idea: Carrie Prejean is engaged.

The disgraced beauty queen has accepted a 5-carat diamond ring from NFL quarterback Kyle Boller, who’s probably most famous for once dating Tara Reid. Yes, he has impeccable taste in women.

The couple reportedly celebrated their engagement at a Super Bowl party in San Diego. Boller plays for the St. Louis Rams, in case anyone was wondering.

Boller and Prejean started dating last summer, when she was in the thick of the Miss California controversy. So she’s 22, and they’ve been dating about six months. Are we taking bets on whether they’ll actually make it down the aisle?
