Animated series that follows 10-year-old Sakura and her mysterious classmate Li, who, after an innocent mistake, release the world's most powerful magic and begin the adventure of a lifetime. When Sakura finds an unusual clasp-locked book called the "Clow Book," once belonging to ancient wizards, she opens it and accidentally sets free magical Clow cards, which embody fantastical forces of nature. Now, joined by a demanding but humorous guardian beast named Kero, Sakura and Li must recapture the cards, one by one, before the fury of their magic is set loose on an unsuspecting world. In a constant battle to reclaim the elusive and destructive cards, only Sakura's strength of mind and heart will save the world from chaos.

During the second season, 10-year-old Sakura and her mystical classmate Li now must learn to manage the magical Clow cards. As "Master of the Clow Cards," Sakura must face her destiny by making each card her own "Star Card" in order to continue the centuries-old line of magic and to keep the legacy of the Clow cards alive. With the help of Kero, who has returned to his true form -- a line with wings -- Sakura and Li race against time as they assign each card a specific purpose before hundreds of years of magic are detroyed. In the meantime, strange disturbances are creating havoc in town and a new transfer student, Eli Moon, has a hidden agenda which will drastically affect the Cardcaptors' fate.
