Cab to Canada

Seventysomething Katherine Eure and thirtysomething cab driver Mike Donahue embark on a trip that changes their lives forever. The adventure begins when Katherine takes a cab to the funeral of a dear friend. Feeling the need to make every remaining moment of her life count, she tells Mike to keep driving to see the sights along the California coast. Initially, Mike is less than enthusiastic and misses his girlfriend Sandy, but as the trip progresses he and Katherine encounter adventures that reveal they have much in common. The journey ends more than 3,100 miles later in Canada, and with every mile, Katherine and Mike learn more about each other and the things that make life worth living.
