Breaking Bad By The Numbers

We’ve been following along with Jesse Pinkman and Walter White this season as they continue in their crystal meth making ways, luckily the folks at Nursing Schools have put together this useful infographic about the dangers of meth, in case anyone was confused by the glamorous lifestyle portrayed on Breaking Bad.  A professor I once had said that Requiem for a Dream should be shown to college Freshman to discourage drug use, and it’s hard to think of shows such as Breaking Bad or The Wire as anything but the ultimate in drug discouragement.  It’s nothing but murder, mayhem, and destruction, which is what makes White’s involvement in the process so interesting.  Walter no longer seems to consider the moral component of his decision to produce crystal meth, instead focusing in on the fact that it’s benefiting his family.  Walt in season one was a lot more troubled by these matters, but season one feels like it was centuries ago.

Anyway! Here’s the details on the series and on crystal meth.  Stay out of drugs and keep going to school, and watch Breaking Bad as long as you’re old enough.

None of Walt’s labs ever exploded, and was never in the back of a van. They got an RV, and the RV was destroyed on purpose in later episodes because it’s the one thing the DEA has at the time.
