Black Gold: Episode 8

Problems are coming to a head on the "Big Dog" rig. With only five days left, driller Justin and his team are 8,000 ft into their second well, and the only thing close to the bottom is moral. On the "Viking," Wayne's crew is drilling fast on soft ground. Being halfway through their third well with time to spare hasn't come easy. With injuries and mother nature against the team, they still managed to maintain the lead in the competition. The "Longhorn" rig has arrived at its third and final site, but inexperienced driller Josh has only five days until the deadline. Although the rig is in position to finish on schedule, Josh's work ethic and potentially deadly set backs, the rig can not afford even the most minor mistakes, if they plan to finish on time. Wayne and his "Viking" reach total depth, and make some wealthy investors very happy.
