Synopsis:
Chima (freelance journalist) and Lydia (lots of tattoos) are up for eviction this week. Jeff (ad salesman) continues to feel alienated from the Athletes clique, but feels happy to have avoided nomination for eviction. Current Head of Household (HoH) Jessie and clique-mate Russell (Mixed Martial Arts fighter) discuss adding Laura (bikini model) from the Popular clique to their alliance. Laura seems amenable to the idea. In the Power of Veto (PoV) competition, the houseguests dig through various simulated facial blemishes to find letter tiles to spell words. The longest, correctly-spelled word wins. Russell spells “SHOTGUN” and wins the PoV competition. Back outside, Russell starts in on Jeff, making fun of his performance in the PoV competition. As it usually does, the argument spills over into intra-clique bickering between Natalie (Tae Kwon Do champion) and Jeff. After not winning the PoV competition, Lydia tries to convince Russell to keep her in the house. Lydia brings up Braden (surfer) from the Popular clique as a possible replacement for her on the chopping block. Russell talks to Ronnie (gamer) about putting up Braden and Ronnie immediately relays the information to Jeff who then tells Braden. Russell can sense Ronnie’s deceit and reports it to Jessie. Regardless of Ronnie’s actions, Russell uses the PoV on Lydia and Jessie then nominates Braden for eviction.
