Big Brother 11: Episode 1116

Russell and Lydia are still up for eviction after Kevin did not use the Power of Veto (PoV) last episode. Lydia is disappointed that Kevin did not use the PoV to save her but Kevin is confident in the long-term benefits of the strategy. Jessie and Natalie discuss the precariousness of their position and fear the “Coup d’Etat” power that America voted to give Jeff. Since the other houseguests do not know who possesses the mystery power, there is much speculation and politicking about who has the power and how it might be used. Jessie and Natalie believe that Jeff or Jordan might have the power and decide to hang out with them to perhaps instill some good will. Russell attempts to convince Jessie that keeping him in the game would benefit all the male houseguests. Russell moves on to Michele, but Jessie interrupts their conversation to remind Michele of Russell’s checkered past in the Big Brother house. Host Julie Chen discusses the state of Lydia and Kevin’s relationship and how difficult the game has been with the assembled houseguests. Chima’s grandmother comments on how her granddaughter has played the game and Chima discusses her relationship with Russell in a one-on-one interview with Julie Chen. With the voting about to begin, Julie Chen prompts the houseguest holding the mystery power to stand and use the power. Jeff uses the power of “Coup d’Etat” to take Lydia and Russell off the block and replace them with Jessie and Natalie. Jessie and Natalie speak to the houseguests about why they should stay in the house. Jessie is voted off and discusses his eviction and suspicion of Jeff with Julie Chen. The Head of Household competition this week requires the houseguests to remember the classification of various themed challenges from throughout their stay in the house. Michele wins the Head of Household competition.
