Synopsis:
Current Head of Household (HoH) Russell put Ronnie and Lydia up for eviction this week (following through on an agreement with Jeff). While Ronnie is confident that he can make it out of this predicament, Lydia is a bit more broken up about it. Ronnie goes to Russell’s HoH room to discuss staying in the house, but Russell still wants to vote Ronnie out. The Chima-Natalie-Jessie alliance meets with Russell to convince him that Lydia is the preferred eviction. Natalie attempts to convince wild card Michele – possibly the deciding vote – that she should vote for Lydia’s eviction. For the Power of Veto (PoV) competition, the players are Russell, Ronnie, Lydia, Kevin and Jessie, Chima is the host and the theme is ancient Rome. The questions involve guessing numbers of items (grapes, arrows, etc.) and then expressing confidence in one’s guess by staying or folding after the other players reveal their responses. Michele wins the PoV and now wields much of the power in the house as both the PoV and the swing vote. A succession of houseguests attempts to feel out Michele’s mental state but she keeps her cards close to the vest. Ronnie tries to work on Chima but Russell allegedly hears their conversation. At the PoV ceremony, Michele opts not to use the PoV on either Ronnie or Lydia.
