Big Brother 11: Episode 1110

Casey (Offbeats clique) and Jordan (Popular) are up for eviction tonight and host Julie Chen notes in her opening remarks that the cliques will be broken up tonight. After the Power of Veto (PoV) meeting on the last episode, Casey expected some sort of outrage from the house but no one seems too concerned that he is on the chopping block. Lydia (Offbeats) discusses her fondness for Jessie and how she likes watching him sleep. Jordan decides to keep her opinions quiet in order to allow Casey to dig his own grave. Casey tries to convince Russell that he should join a new alliance but Russell (Athletes) doesn’t seem to want to switch. Jordan and Jeff continue their affectionate “showmance” and Jordan and Jeff’s families comment on the behavior of their loved ones. Jordan and Jeff’s mothers discuss their children and how they have had their hearts broken in the past. Julie discusses the controversial issues in the house with the houseguests, ranging from the amazing recovery of Ronnie (Brains) to the Lydia-Natalie-Jessie love triangle. Julie discusses the love triangle one-on-one with Jessie, but he doesn’t provide any interesting facts. Casey and Jordan give their final statements and Casey indicts Ronnie and Jessie for their maneuvering but his argument does not sway the voters. Casey is evicted on a 7-1 vote, with Russell the lone vote for Jordan’s eviction. Casey mentions to Julie that he probably saw the signs for his eviction coming but he trusted the wrong people. In a surprise twist, Julie tells the houseguests that the cliques have been eliminated and that one of the houseguests will be granted a mystery power: The “Coup d’Etat” allows the houseguest with the power to change one or both of the eviction nominations immediately before the voting. The only way to earn the mystery power is from America voting you as the recipient. For tonight’s Head of Household (HoH) competition, the houseguests have to hang onto a rope dangling from a rotating canopy. The result of the competition will be revealed in the next episode.
