Synopsis:
Galactica investigates a drifting Cylon base ship filled with dead or dying Cylons. Aboard ship, Doc Cottle determines they contracted encephalitis from an adrift beacon, presumably left behind by the thirteenth colony -- Earth. The humans are immune to the disease, but it is fatal to the Cylons, prompting President Roslin to approve a military plan that would destroy the entire Cylon race. Meanwhile, operating under the assumption Baltar knew of the beacon, Cylon Three tortures him for information. But when Six helps him overcome the pain of torture subconsciously, Baltar convinces Three to spare his life.
