No longer is Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky a face behind Facebook.

Previously an advertising exec with the social networking site, the 25-year-old reality star has accepted a job with Fox 5 News in San Diego,where her mug will be front and center beginning at 9 a.m. Monday.

She broke the news Thursday night on her Twitter account: “Thrilled to be a part of the Fox 5 San Diego news team! My 1st segment is Monday morning. Love being involved with the community this way,” she wrote.

In perhaps the shrewdest reality show move ever, Fedotowsky famously left Jake Pavelka’s season of The Bachelor after she decided she’d rather keep her Facebook job than be with the fame-seeking pilot. She was then cast as The Bachelorette, finding love with, and becoming engaged to, Roberto Martinez and was like, Facebook who?

Fedotowsky happily moved from San Francisco to San Diego to be with her man.

No word what kinds of things she’ll be covering. Perhaps a segment on singles?
