Break out the frozen bananas, because the long-rumored revival of the beloved Fox sitcom Arrested Development has been confirmed by a show writer. Dean Lorey shared on his blog that the entire original cast will return for a new season, which will stream on Netflix.
“We’re really doing this thing,” he wrote. ”There are offices and parking spaces.”
The new season — 10 episodes — will be available on Netflix in 2013, with a feature film to follow. Now if only we hadn’t quit Netflix in a huff when the company raised prices last year.
Arrested Development originally aired for three seasons on Fox from 2003-2006.
