Angel: Parting Gifts

Angel tries to convince the Powers That Be to bring back Doyle, to no avail. He is then hired by a demon who claims he is being followed by a demon hunter. Angel's search leads him to the demon's apartment, where he finds Wesley, the demon hunter in question, a former Sunnydale resident and ex-member of the Watcher's Council. When Wesley helps Angel realize he's been tricked and that Cordelia is now in danger, Wesley is given an invitation to stay on.
