Spinoff of The WB series, "Buffy, The Vampire Slayer," featuring the characters Angel and Cordelia. Angel, a centuries-old vampire cursed with a conscience, moves to Los Angeles where he saves souls to atone for centuries of terror. Cordelia Chase also moves to Los Angeles from Sunnydale with high hopes of living the glamorous Hollywood dream, but the two soon discover they could use each other's help. Angel and Cordelia are joined by Doyle, a disreputable spiritual mentor who has been sent by "The Powers That Be," a mysterious and powerful force trying to make things right.
