America's Next Top Model: The Girl Who is Special

Episode 11 |  Season 4 2004 - 2005 |  First Aired: 5/11/2005
Synopsis:
Much of South African culture and history is explored in this episode. The remaining models learn the traditional South African dance and perform it in front of a live audience. Keenyah believes that she has a special connection to the country as she is African American and this opinion continues when the girls visit Nelson Mandela's jail cell, much to the annoyance of the other models. Both Naima and Brittany argue with Keenyah about her supposed birthright after Naima is given the key to unlock the cell and Keenyah makes a huge fuss. The models then share a unique experience when they are able to listen to Mandela himself. For the photoshoot the girls pose while dancing with male models and Keenyay has a difficult experience with one of the them. After tempers flair again between the girls, Brittany is eliminated at panel.
