Paula Abdul Bounced From American Idol?

Her new manager seems to think so.

What would American Idol be without Paula Abdul's loopy antics and incomprehensible blather?

We'll see. Abdul's new manager is telling the media she won't return to Idol next season.

"Very sadly, it does not appear that she's going to be back on Idol," David Sonenberg told the Los Angeles Times.

Auditions for the show's ninth season are already ongoing, but apparently Abdul still has no contract with Idol producers. Ryan Seacrest, meanwhile, just signed a 3-year deal to continue to host Idol and take over the universe.

We're guessing it's all just a ploy to up Abdul's salary, and she'll be back with the others when Idol returns.
