Synopsis:
Events in the lives of the Bunkers, a white, working-class, Anglo-Saxon American family living in Queens, New York: Archie, a trucking dock foreman for the Prendergast Tool and Dye Company (later the owner of a bar called "Archie Bunker's Place") and a bigoted, uncouth conservative; Edith, his loving, dim-witted, sensitive, and totally honest wife; Gloria, their beautiful, feisty, married daughter; and Mike Stivic, Gloria's husband, an idealistic, politically left academic.
