Synopsis:
Sydney, Jack and Irina continue their mission to obtain the warheads. They manage to fend off an ambush but are racing against the clock because the Indians are preparing an airstrike. Irina gives them instructions to split up and they comply only to find that Irina has seemingly betrayed them. She pretends to work with the enemy but gives them an escape. Jack and Sydney escape but Jack won't leave without Irina. Using the nukes plutonium, they witness the activation of a Rambaldi device which supposedly gives eternal life, just as the base comes under fire. They are rescued by Vaughn. Also, Sloane reveals the extortion plot by Emily's mysterious captor to the Alliance and try to track him down with their help, but is evaded.
