Alias: A Free Agent

Sydney announces her intentions to quit the CIA but is met with resistance from Kendall who threatens to ban her from visiting her mother. A mathematician named Caplan, his wife and son are kidnapped by Sark and Sloane, to force him to decipher Rambaldi documents and build a weapon for Sloane. Sydney volunteers to help free them after Sloane calls and threatens her. Dixon must deal with the truth and tells his wife everything and she threatens to leave him. Marshal happily accepts a new job with the CIA and cracks Sloane's computer. With Caplan a reluctant participant, Sloane wants to get a device that will aid Caplan in putting together the Rambaldi device. Marshall helps Syd and Vaughn find the same device in Zurich. They arrive as Sloane leaves with the device, threatening to blow up the entire city block if he isn't allowed to leave and makes Syd drive him away, making her a prisoner.
