Ordinary men and women are pitted against one another to see who can handle themselves in the most extreme conditions. Expert coaches are on hand as contestants try to perform some of the most extreme physical tests known to man and earn points on how well they weathered the test. The person with the most points wins a prize challenge, such as an adventure trip to New Zealand, a bungee jump from a helicopter into the Grand Canyon or hovercraft lessons. The winner of each episode goes on to the grand finale, where the series champion wins a Ferrari 550 Buchatta.
