Synopsis:
Sandy goes to the hospital expecting to give birth, but takes a walk when she isn't ready to deliver yet. Simon tries to get Rose to accompany him to the hospital to support Sandy, but when Rose balks, Simon decides they should break up. Eric tries to coax Martin into skipping a baseball tryout and going to be with Sandy at the hospital. Meanwhile, Ruthie's infatuation with seeing Martin practice leads Eric and Annie to wonder if Ruthie doesn't still harbor romantic ideas about him, and Lucy tells Kevin she has no interest in having another baby.
