Synopsis:
J.T. Neumeyer is experiencing some eerie occurences as the tenth anniversary of his wife's death arrives, despite the new love in his life, Claudia, and his well-adjusted ten-year old daughter, Jesse. After a falling chunk of debris puts his truck out of commission, J.T. soon stumbles upon a briefcase with files and pictures warning him of his own imminent death in five days. Bringing Detective Ivan Sikorski on the case, J.T. tries to narrow down some suspects which even includes brother-in-law Brad Hume, friend Tim Sanders, and obssessed student, Carl Axelrod, while continually giving credence to the idea this is all just an elaborate prank. Things don't sound so hokey when he manages to stop one of the predictions in that briefcase from happening, saving elderly Mandy Murphy's life and essentially rewriting the rules of fate.
