Synopsis:
Jennifer Cave, a college student, goes to hang out with a friend who says he needs her and ends up dead. Colton Pitonyak, a friend with a drug problem was convicted of murdering Jennifer and mutilating her body. His girlfriend, Laura Hill was convicted of being involved in the mutilation and in aiding Colton in his escape to Mexico. After the her daughter's death, Jennifer's mother worked to get tougher sentencing guidelines passed for mutilation. The law is named after her daughter, "The Jennifer Cave Act."
