The best comedy on television -- 30 Rock, in case you didn't know -- won't return to NBC until Oct. 30, but this seems as good a time as any to revisit the show, what with Alec Baldwinstarting feuds with Greg Garcia and high-profile guest star rumors flying, etc.
Also, NBC just sent over a 2-minute recap to catch up on Liz Lemon's love life, and I like to watch videos, especially in the middle of a work day.
But first: 30 Rock is pulling a Britney! Jennifer Aniston just filmed a guest spot on the network she used to call home, playing a free-spirited former roommate of Liz Lemon who shows up in New York and takes a liking to Alec Baldwin's blustery Jack Donaghy. I believe the term "stalker" was thrown around the Internet to describe Aniston's role. There are also pictures from the set showing Aniston in a fountain or fire hydrant. Not sure when the episode will air, but 30 Rock sure could use the ratings.
There are also rumblings of Oprah in talks to appear on the show. 30 Rock creator and star Tina Fey has said that Oprah would be her "dream guest."
