Jack Bauer will live another day ... in the city that never sleeps.

Entertainment Weekly reports that Fox's 24 will be set in New York in its eighth season. The show will continue to shoot in Los Angeles, with some on-location scenes mixed in.

Anil Kapoor, who played the game show host in Slumdog Millionaire, will join the cast next season.
