Synopsis:
CTU comes across information that leads them to believe that terrorists might attack the Russian President's envoy. Lynn McGill refuses to pass this information along and Audrey tries to circumvent his authority. When McGill decides to have her, Edgar and Chloe removed, Curtis Manning steps up and declares McGill unfit for leadership and asks that Bill Buchanan be reinstated. While investigating his lead, Jack comes across a former CTU colleague who left under questionable allegations. Jack is trapped by this man inside a room with a bomb and barely manages to save himself. CTU contacts Logan with the information about the attack of which he's already aware. The lives of Martha Logan, the Russian President and his wife are saved just in time by CTU's warning. The Russian terrorists contact Logan and assure him there will be repercussions.
