24: Day 5: 7:00AM - 8:00AM

18 months after Jack Bauer faked his own death to avoid a worse fate, he's pressed into service when President Palmer is assassinated, Dressler is killed and Tony is wounded by a car bomb and Chloe is on the run. President Logan tries to work through the tragedy and ensure the signing of a pact against terrorism with the visiting Russian President. Despite Derek Huxley tagging along, Jack gets to Chloe and saves her. He learns that there is a conspiracy to frame him for the murders and kills the man who shot Palmer himself. Martha Logan tries to convince her husband that Palmer had called her to warn her of a threat to National security, but he believes it's one of her delusions.
