Synopsis:
Mandy tells Jack where to find Marwan and though they arrive in time to stop his helicopter from taking off, Jack can't keep Marwan from falling to his death. Hope is not lost when a device on the helicopter indicates that Los Angeles is the actual target of the missile. The missile is destroyed, but the celebration is short-lived when the Chinese Government demands that Jack be yielded to their custody. The President's right-hand man orders Jack's death, but Palmer alerts Jack. Though it appears that Jack has been killed, Tony, Michelle and Chloe secret him away.
