Synopsis: A spy action thriller revolving around Jack Bauer, a government agent who is called upon to avert nation-threatening crises. The first day, Bauer uncovers an assassination plot against a presidential candidate -- and has 24 hours to stop the murder. The second day, Bauer takes on terrorists who have planted a bomb in Los Angeles. The third day, which takes place three years later, a high profile drug dealer threatens to release a deadly virus on Los Angeles if his captured brother is not released. Day four begins 18 months later. Jack is fired from CTU. After the explosion of a commuter train, Jack, now working for the Secretary of Defense, finds himself heading back to CTU on the Secretary's behalf.Day five follows another 18 months later, when Jack resurfaces after faking his death and his old friends at CTU are getting killed or on the run. By the end of the day, he ends up taking down the corrupt President of the United States.Day Six picks up 20 months later, after Jack Bauer was captured by Chinese government agents battered, bloodied and headed for points unknown. As a series of horrific terrorist attacks rocks the nation, President Wayne Palmer, the brother of the late President David Palmer, and his team of advisers, Karen Hayes and Thomas Lennox as well as CTU colleagues Chloe O'Brien, Curtis Manning and Bill Buchanan begin an unthinkable, nail-biting day.On the 7th day, as Jack Bauer stands trial, Tony Almeida returns under investigation for a national security breach that escalates into an international crisis. With CTU disbanded, Jack is more alone than ever but gets assistance from old friends Chloe O'Brien and Bill Buchanan.
