I've got some good news and some bad news. The good news is that a viable box office movie will take the throne from Happy Feet. The bad news is that two out of the three new releases should get pummeled. Wait, that's not really bad news for you (unless you see them). So I've only got good news. Read on!

5. Casino Royale $6.8m
MaryAnn adroitly pointed out that last weekend's box office returns were mini. That and Blood Diamond will drop this one to the very perch of the top five.

4. Blood Diamond $9.0m
It would have had a fighting shot at the two slot if they'd found more theaters for it. Just under 2,000 isn't enough to play with the big box-office pooches.

3. Happy Feet $9.8m
An amazing box-office run, all because it was released at a perfect time. With that and the Oscar buzz, this is nothing less than a triumph.

2. Apocalypto $11.5m
This is the most hyped and "buzzy" film of the past few months, but when push comes to shove I can't see people paying to see it.

1. The Holiday $21.2m
This is a conservative projection, as it could open massive. I'd call it worth seeing, although it's no Love Actually.

Check back with MaryAnn on Monday, she's dreamy!
