5. The Reaping $11.7m
Here's what I've got to ponder: Why do you release this against Grindhouse? As I ponder further, I think: Why do you release a biblical plague movie over Easter weekend? I think I've come up with the answer to my queries though. They simply never bothered asking the hard questions. Fifth place will be their reward.

4. Meet the Robinsons $18.6m
Now this is a film that's made for a family weekend. Fun and accessible, this is easily the best movie on the board right now. Won't you see it? Must I come there and pay for your ticket? Don't tempt me.

3. Blades of Glory $20.5m
I can't wait for the real comedy of the year, Knocked Up. I've been hearing so much good buzz that I'm almost deaf. As for this one, it's the last slide I'll allow for Ferrell. Either he's got to do good, serious work (Winter Passing) or good comedy (Anchorman). Otherwise we're breaking up.

2. Are We Done Yet? $21.6m
Ice Cube. What's up, fella? This isn't right, what you're up to these days. I get that a paycheck is nice, trust me, I've been there, but this is the road to sadness. Get back to the adult comedy roots real quick like.

1. Grindhouse $22.2m
I don't have this as high as ComingSoon.net's predictor. I just have to think a three-hour running time will scare people. Who the heck has three hours for a strange horror homage double feature that's rated hard R? It's got to be less than three million people. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Check back with MaryAnn on Monday, she's clever to the max.
