|Layla And Other Assorted Love Songs. Dominos, Derek and the (American/British. Active 1970-1971.) Emile Theodore Frandsen de Schomberg's "La Fille au Bouquet" was chosen as the cover of Clapton's 1970 masterpiece, which ends with a pair of epics: the two-part "Layla" and keyboardist Bobby Whitlock's heartrending ode to his lost dog, "Thorn Tree in the Garden."
