Recipe: Eggnog
Ingredients:
24 eggs – divided into yolk and white
2 cl sugar
2 cl good quality brandy
¼ liter of good quality bourbon
¼ liter of cream
¼ liter of vanilla ice
½ liter of milk
a tad of nutmeg
1. Stir egg yolks and sugar into a thick mass.
2. Add bourbon and brandy and stir thoroughly (the alcohol will “boil” the egg).
3. Add cream and milk and keep stiring.
4. Add vanilla ice in small chunks at a time.
5. Stir the egg whites until they thicken, then add.
6. Refrigerate for *at least* 30 minutes before serving
7. Lightly sprinkle with nutmeg
