Cypress Hill

"We didn't really tour with Cypress Hill, we just played one weird show with them. It was at some arena outside of Salt Lake City. The bands had to hang out in mobile homes because in Utah there couldn't be booze at the show and being in a vehicle was some kind of legal loophole, like a private residence on the premises. Hanging out was awkward; we drank a lot more of their liquor than they wanted us to, and I think it bummed them out. It was no surprise that the crowd hated us. They were throwing all kinds of stuff up on stage: coins, lighters, keys -- anything they could. Coady [Willis] got beaned really good with a Sacajawea dollar and had a huge welt on his forehead. After the show we scooped up all the change, and we cleared almost $50 in small change. They must have really hated us."
