The fleetness of these foxes is wasted here because they are going up against obviously cowardly birds. If the foxes were going after some gorillas or a killer whale, they could run in, do some damage and then run away again when things got too hot. But here we have some swans, and they'd rather float around their pond looking regal or giving rides to couples getting engaged than pick a fight with anyone, so it's game over for them big time.
