Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror." This 1922 classic of cinema based on Bram Stoker's "Dracula" (but with names changed) directed by F.W. Murnau and starring Max Schrek in one of films most famous and frightening make-up jobs.
Stricken with terrible grief at the news of her son's death in a mysterious boating accident, Anna Sherman quits her important career and secludes herself with her grief for seven years. Emerging with renewed energy and venom, Anna sets out to punish her son's rowing mates, who all now occupy high ranking positions in French society. Acting as an Angel of Revenge, Anna's campaign for justice takes on a life of its own when the guilty co-conspirators all meet their doom through accidents and apparent suicides.
