Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror." This 1922 classic of cinema based on Bram Stoker's "Dracula" (but with names changed) directed by F.W. Murnau and starring Max Schrek in one of films most famous and frightening make-up jobs.
Follows five characters over 24 hours on the last day of the year. As the inter-related stories gradually unravel so do the connections between the protagonists. By depicting people at emotional crossroads, the film examines the struggle to overcome our greatest fears; the unknown of what lies ahead in the future, the fading value of our existence in the present and most of all, irreversible mistakes made in the past that may catch up with us.
