A pair of rival jewel thieves -- once married to each other -- who are pitted against one another in a quest to get their hands on a very valuable heirloom. Their former romance is rekindled when they face off against each other in a dazzling pursuit for the loot. Newly engaged to a curiously unappealing bachelor who just happens to be very wealthy, the female half has her eyes set on a priceless necklace which is one of his family's heirlooms, and which has been promised to her for a wedding present. But when the proffered prize is mysteriously stolen prior to the wedding day, she immediately suspects the handiwork of her ex-husband, setting in motion a deliriously devious round of cat-and-mouse antics.
