Bastien is a twentysomething assistant to Philippe Letzger, the host of an exploitive and grotesque talk show. When Bastien gets an idea for a new show that Letzger takes credit for, he decides to go to the head boss, Jean-Louis Broustal, with the truth. Broustal invites him to his lush country estate to work on a template for the new show. There he finds himself in over his head, between the demands of his boss for the show and the demands of his boss' wife in the bedroom.
