Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Love the Hard Way." Oscar-winner Adrien Brody and Charlotte Ayanna star in this drama about a thief who falls for a curious, beautiful young woman. As their intimacy grows, a slick cop (Pam Greer) is closing in.
Almar drops his gold watch into the sea while on board ship. He dives in and rescues it, but at his next port of call, he jumps ship to get it fixed. It will take at least 24 hours he is told, so he is stuck in Galacia. He meets Windy, an Australian sailor, and Molina, a kinky lighthouse keeper. He enjoys seeing the sights with Marta, but is less keen on getting involved with Windy's small-time criminality.
