Vipera

In a small Sicilian town during the final years of the Fascist regime, a man turns to alcohol for comfort after his wife deserts him and their young daughter. Years later, while the post-war economic boom sends the country into a fervor, the man only finds more sorrow after his daughter is impregnated by a notable townsman.
