Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Love the Hard Way." Oscar-winner Adrien Brody and Charlotte Ayanna star in this drama about a thief who falls for a curious, beautiful young woman. As their intimacy grows, a slick cop (Pam Greer) is closing in.
Anna is a struggling actress having trouble finding decent roles. She is offered a job by a chicken farmer to care for his decrepit father Walentin, who is apparently mute and disabled. Anna takes the job, and soon learns that Walentin can both speak and walk.
