Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Love the Hard Way." Oscar-winner Adrien Brody and Charlotte Ayanna star in this drama about a thief who falls for a curious, beautiful young woman. As their intimacy grows, a slick cop (Pam Greer) is closing in.
In his 35th year as head coach, Bud Kilmer is trying to lead his West Canaan Coyotes to their 23rd division title. Uncompromising and omnipotent, Kilmer is deified in the small Texas town as long as the team is winning. But when star qurterback Lance Harbor suffers a season-ending injury, the Coyotes are forced to regroup under the questionable leadership of second-string quarterback Jonathan Moxon. His irreverent attitude and approach to football come into direct conflict with the coach's inflexible game plan.

A sports opus that sends Dawson up the high school football creek Yee-ha! These are wild Texas boys who play football for the West Canaan Coyotes. They date cheerleaders who wear whipped-cream bikinis, hang Stetsons on their hard-ons when they drive around naked and hope that coach Bud Kilmer (Voight) won't shoot them up with steroids if they sustain injuries that might kill the coach's chances of winning another division title.Director Brian Robbins (Good Burger) and screenwriter W.
