Nishida and Yamazaki are nervous bankrobbers who happen to enter a bank as another thief is holding it up. Chasing after him, both Nishida and the thief are killed by an oncoming car. Yamasaki panics, runs from the scene and accidentally stabs a young hairdresser in the process. The now delirious Yamazaki, not realizing he has all the loot in his hand, is taken hostage by a rival gang who strike a deal with him: they get the money and he gets to die...
