Traces the misadventures of Celimene, a 35-year-old woman who prefers to go by the name of Nathalie and no longer writes due to lack of inspiration. Her seven-year-old son Adam helps her keep her feet on the ground. While their apartment undergoes renovations, they live temporarily with Celimene's mother, which proves difficult. Seventeen-year-old Anais is young, fresh and youthfully arrogant. She pursues Celimene, lying in wait for her everywhere to convince her to use her as a source of writing material.
